Researcher, Writer, Humanitarian

Who am I?

I am a rising fourth-year undergraduate student studying Multidisciplinary Engineering, with a concentration in Humanitarian Engineering. My interest in engineering comes from a desire to apply mathematics and science to the real world to better the lives of those around me. I am pursuing Humanitarian Engineering specifically to help those most vulnerable worldwide.

My work in Engineering Education is centered around delivering educational classes to students through tablet technology. I design classes and integrate them as digital content via an app to make the lessons interactive. In my research, I analyze the data produced by students' interactions with educational technology. I also write about the various steps in this process. All of this work is aimed toward the goal of ensuring students in developing countries have access to effective and engaging engineering education materials.

Research Interests:

  • Coding interactive engineering classes to be accessed through tablets

  • Analyzing data from students’ use of said tablets

  • Writing on the process of contextualizing and implementing engineering curricula
